GREETINGS
Hello Division 27, For many of us, school has finally started and hopefully your club meetings have as well! While you are in the recruitment stage of the year, please let me know if there is a way that I can help you out. Membership growth is a very important component to a successful year. With that said, please let me know when a good time for me to visit your club is! I will be visiting each club in our division at least twice, so it would be great if I could get my first round of visitations finished in this first month. In addition, please let me know if you would like me to do a presentation during my visit on the structure of Key Club International, The Eliminate Project, the K-Family, or anything else that takes your fancy! Speaking of the K-Family, I have also had the honor of attending Kiwanis DCON this past month. The Key Clubbers that attended and I were welcomed with loving hearts, and were treated fabulously. Kiwanians really are our parents, and we should treat them as such! Please get in contact with your sponsoring Kiwanis Clubs and advisors, and really strive to work with them this year. If you need help getting in contact with your Kiwanis Club, please let me know and I’ll get you guys acquainted! Also, keep in mind that you may be able to submit the dues for your club starting from next month! This can be a stressful time for your club’s board, especially the treasurer. If you need any help at any point of the process, please let me know!
With love and in caring service,
Josh Kim
Lieutenant Governor, Division 27
From your Lieutenant Governor
“If you light yourself on fire with passion, people will come from miles away to watch you burn”

GREETINGS
Hi everyone! I’m Ethan Tsai and I am going to be a senior next year at Woodinville High School! I first joined Key Club in my sophomore year as a member and had a lot of fun getting to know the officers and the purpose of Key Club. The following year, I became the club secretary and tried to get more involved in Key Club. I realized how close the Key Club family is at this year’s DCON and got to meet some amazing Lieutenant Governors from other divisions. It was inspiring to see how many people cared about service all in one place and I truly enjoyed the experience. As a club officer, I can already feel some of the pressure of leading one club and I can only imagine what it’s like trying to handle all the clubs in our division. As Divisional Executive Assistant, I’d really like to help relieve some of the stress from our Lieutenant Governor, Josh. I hope to get even more involved in Key Club this year (especially at WHS) and I am looking forward to my last year of high school and DCON 2015! Ethan Tsai Executive Assistant, Division 27
From your Divisional Executive Assistant
GREETINGS
Hello PNW Key Clubbers, I hope everyone has had a great start of the school year, and you know what the start of the school year means... Your club’s first Key Club Meeting! Key Club is in full bloom, and I can’t wait to see what your clubs are doing for service and fundraisers! Remember, if you show how passionate you are for Key Club others will be inspired to join. Be proud to be a Key Clubber and remember to exemplify leadership and character, while always being inclusive and caring to those around you. Meeting all of you at the rallies was so inspiring; you are all constantly dedicating your time and love to the communities across the Pacific Northwest. I love how you represent Key Club with your pride and spirit while showing the dedication and compassion you hold for others. As always, remember the district board is here for the members and clubs. Please feel free to contact us at any time with your questions or concerns. I hope to see y’all at DCON 2015! Lisa Antonio Pacific Northwest District Governor
From your District Governor
GREETINGS
From your International Trustee
Hey, Pacific-Northwest! My name is Tashrima Hossain, and I’d like to introduce myself as the new International Trustee for your district. It is such an honor to be in your service, primarily by ensuring that your voices are heard at the international level during the upcoming year. I’m excited to join the PNW moose; I’ve already received so much enthusiasm from the Board, I’ve heard many great things about PNW, and I can’t wait to see all the great achievements your district has in store. To let you know a little about myself, I am from Cypress, Texas, which is a suburban area adjacent to the Houston border. In addition to Key Club, I devote much of my time to debate and Student Council— which often leaves with very little time for sleep! As a result, I’m a bit of a grandma, and I like spending much of my free time sleeping, reading, or just hanging out with friends. For those of you who would like to know more about my duties as International Trustee, I have a few basic responsibilities: attending International Board meetings, participating in a maximum of two district visits, and acting as a representative of the international level of Key Club. In addition, Governor Lisa and I completed a Governor-Trustee agreement, which identified the main expectations Lisa has of me, as your district’s Trustee; many of said goals revolve around constant communication and building positive Sister District relations—all of which are means to ensure that I effectively represent your views on the international level. Additionally, I serve with Jenalee Beazley, Rip Livingston, Liz Moore, and Nicole Lema on the Growth and Communications Committee. There, we predominantly focus on fostering a connection between advisors and Kiwanis clubs, making Key Club a school-wide name, creating a “cool factor” for Key Club, empowering local clubs to publicize their work, creating a strategic growth plan for KCI, and creating an annual club census. We already have a very specific set of goals and action steps for the first quarter; I plan to update you all with any progress in that arena. During my term, I will stay committed to the goals I campaigned with, but more than that, I intend to actively serve as a resource for you all. If you have questions about amendments, elections, service, or general Key Club knowledge, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’m here as a resource, friend, and assistant in any way you may need. Call me, email me, Facebook me— I’m always ready to lend a hand. Tashrima Hossain International Trustee Georgia, KIWIN'S, & Pacific-Northwest [email protected]
