1. Microsoft Kinect Effect
When it comes to computing, Apple have had the ‘wow’ factor in their ads for the last few years, but a new advert
from Microsoft that has just been released is seriously impressive.
Featuring their Kinect gaming device, it features some of the social ways in which it has been hacked by the general public to improve people’s lives. It’s the sort of advertising
that moves people to buy products.

2. Beck’s sobriety test app http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8jFHBXtZOs
We want people to drink Beck’s responsibly – that’s why we created a mobile app that tests your sobriety. When drunk, one cannot perform even the simplest task – like fitting a key into a keyhole. And, as we all know, Beck’s logo is – a keyhole with a key! So, we designed the simple sobriety test app: in order to test your driving ability, you need to keep a key in a moving keyhole for 25 seconds. Fail to do so, and the app automatically dials the cab company in your area. When you drink and drive, there’s no going Beck’s! Links to the App: iPhone, Android

5. National Geographic- Live Augmented Reality
National Geographic have a road show touring shopping centres in Hungary, with an augmented reality installation that lets the thousands of people passing by interact with
the type of content they would find on the National Geographic channel, from dolphins and dinosaurs to
leopards, spacemen and lots more.It works by placing a huge digital screen and high-
powered camera in front of an AR marker that is stuck to the ground. As people step onto the marker, the content comes alive on the big screen in front of them. They also had a park ranger who was there to help people interact with the augmented reality content and make the whole
installation a little more interesting. Created by AppShaker.
