    AND ARE HAPPYTO INTRODUCE OURNEW

    AdministratorR i ch a r d York cameor ig ina l ly from Danv illeI l l i no i s . He graduatedfrom Johnson Bib l e Col_lege_ in 19.72 . and heldminist r ies in Kentuckyand Tennessee . In 1971Mr. York was i n v i t ed to

Rico by Bi l l Lof t o f th e Levi t town work. He r e t u rned to Puerto Rico the following summer as an intern. In February 1973 Mr York moved to Puerto Rico and beganto teach at the Junior High level for the Puerto Rico ChristianSchoo l o f Lev i t t own .While working a t the Christ ian School and church in Levittown Richard met Suzanne Swango who was also teaching at theSchool. They were engaged and were married in May1974 in Suzanne s home church in Irontown Ohio. Suzanne graduated from Milligan College in 1971 and had come to Puerto Ricoin August 1972.The Yorks went to San Jos6 Costa Rica for eight months ofintensive language study and returned to Pu erto Rico in April of1975. Besides teaching in the Christian School In Levittown theyhave been heavily involved in preaching and teaching in churcheson the island. Mr. York has been responsib le for much of the administrative contact with the government for the Christian Schoolbecause of his knowledge of Spanish.

e are pleased that the Yorks have responded so enthusiasti-cally to the need in Caparra Terrace. e deeply appreciate thespirit^ of love and sacrifice which the Levittown brethren haveshown in supporting Richard in this change knowing that he hasbeen such a valuable worker there. His familiarity with Spanishwith the people in Caparra Terrace with Christ ian Schools andtheir purpose and with Pue rto Rico a ll combine to make him anideal choice for Administrator of Christian Day School.Since Mr. York wil l begin full t ime with us on June 1 he wil lnot have time to return to the States th is summer to ra ise moresupport.^ He needs additional support not only because some ofhis previous support has fal len off but also because of the costof living in San Juan compared to Levittown and due to the biggerbeing an Administrator. We wil l need to ra ise about?200 per month to allow for these anticipated expense. e askall our supporters to consider this important matter.
