Summer Internship & Round the Year Internship Programmes
At Jones Lang LaSalle we take our internship programmes seriously. From day one the interns will feel a part of the team and will be encouraged to use some of the skills that they have learnt through their studies. During their stay with Jones Lang LaSalle they will have the opportunity to work alongside some of our senior management within the region who will help develop and support their career aspirations.
The interns will come away from their internship with some great experience and a first class network of peers and colleagues that they will keep for a lifetime. Whether they are a first year student or have already graduated, our internships run over the summer months or at various times throughout the year and can last up to twelve months.
23
MENA Graduate Program• Our Focus:
Jones Lang LaSalle is committed to growing and shaping the future of the real estate world. Our activities influence the people, companies and markets we work with on a day-to-day basis. With a culture promoting on-going development and unrivalled ‘on the job’ experiences from the start, Jones Lang LaSalle, MENA has developed a program which will provide a career at the forefront of property. The program was launched in the year 2013.
• MENA Graduate Programme Format:
The MENA graduate programme is a two year programme, starting in September each year and on the programme, the graduate will have up to four placements during their training. Each placement will ensure that they gain the appropriate breadth of experience to enable them to move into a permanent role in a business line which suits their skill sets and aspirations. We may then further support the graduate to sit in the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) final assessment for the MRICS qualification or further education.
• Criteria to Join the Program:
To join the MENA graduate programme, the graduate will need to be competent in both the Arabic and English languages. We accept a variety of degree subjects for this programme although preference will be given to real estate, business administration, architecture, finance, economics and marketing.

2013 MENA Graduate Program – Sharing their experiences
25
Malik AlAhdal
“Considering JLL’s prestige in the real estate market, and the general knowledge I knew about real estate, I was expecting a rigorous program. However, what I didn’t foresee was the extent to which I would be challenged. This is a fully interactive program, where graduates are challenged to use their critical thinking skills along with their existing knowledge to work among their experienced peers as one of them. The limit is only set by the graduate.”
“I’ve experienced working in valuation Advisory and then in StratCon Departments and by the end of this August, I’ll complete a full year in this program. Being part of JLL MENA Program will enable you to see the bigger picture of the corporate business lines and gives you the advantage of (Linking) between the various departments in a several ways such as enhancing your professional , personal and technical issues. You will be used as a free agent who has the opportunity to achieve more with less. I’ve learnt a lot of this program given that I’m still in the middle of it “.

2014 MENA Graduates – Sharing their experiences
26
“Being part of the MENA Graduate Program has been a great experience so far, I’ve learned so much from the Agency team and I’m lucky to have started there. I’m looking forward to learn about the different aspects of real estate with every rotation.
Nour ElNaggar
“My first rotation in the JLL Graduate program proved to be a strong platform for leveraging my past experience while allowing me to work in a new and challenging environment. The dynamic structure created a thoroughly enriching learning opportunity. I was pleasantly surprized by the pace and depth of my involvement in analysing vast amounts of data, researching and studying the UAE market and running different valuation models. The best part is that my supervisors and team members were constantly welcoming to my questions and suggestions and I actively contributed in key decision making discussions. Overall this opportunity was indispensable in giving me exposure to an entirely new work area and also in helping me foresee and plan my career path post university. It has been truly amazing to be a part of this team, and I look forward to the remaining three rotations.”
