ReportThis survey on student’ satisfactory level of academic library in

Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Tun Hussein Onn (IPGKTHO).Two groups

participants participate in this survey, they were 15 participants from

group PISMP RBT SEM2 and another 15 participants from group PISMP MATH

SEM2, total amount was 30 pupils. There were five questions from this

library’s survey, access to information resources (e.g. books electronic

etc.) is easy available, library space is suitable for study, library

staffs are nice and friendly, the labels in the library are clear and

helpful and the library resources are adequate for my needs.

Base on Q1 questionnaire, access to information resources (e.g.

books electronic etc.) is easy available. For group PISMP RBT Sem 2 and

group PISMP Math Sem 2, this two groups they are strongly agree at a

ratio of 3:5, agree 7:7, moderate 2:3, disagree 3:0, strongly disagree

0:0. In fact in this survey, there are generally agreed for the access to

information resources is easy available. There with not significant

different, among both academic group of students. Besides that, base of

the percentage, there are total 73.3% of these voluntary are happy with

easy access information resource that currently our library have.

Base on Q2 questionnaire, library space is suitable for study. For

group PISMP RBT Sem 2 and group PISMP Math Sem 2, this two groups they

are strongly agree at a ratio of 5:2, agree 8:12, moderate 2:1, disagree

0:0, strongly disagree 0:0. Volunteer student are satisfy with present

library space, it’s a good environment suitable student for studying.

Base on this data collection, our library make an assumption, they are

not library space constraints or crush with student enjoyment library

facility during operation. May needed more sample size & split by


operation hour, for further validate library is suitable for student all

the time.

Base on Q3 questionnaire, library staffs are nice and friendly. For

group PISMP RBT Sem 2 and group PISMP Math Sem 2, this two groups they

are strongly agree at a ratio of 3:2, agree 2:3, neutral 8:7, disagree

2:3, strongly disagree 0:0. Base of the percentage, more than 50% are

score moderate & below. Meaning to say that, library staffs still have

room to improve & better interact with student. However, this won’t be a

factor for student doesn’t like the library.

Base on Q4 questionnaire, the labels in the library are clear and

helpful. For group PISMP RBT Sem 2 and group PISMP Math Sem 2, this two

groups they are strongly agree at a ratio of 3:3, agree 9:10, neutral

3:2, disagree 0:0, strongly disagree 0:0. High score were given by

volunteer student, what they found present labeling in library is clear &

helpful for searching book require. This was shown, the effort was

contribute by library staff are recognition by volunteer student.

Base on Q5 questionnaire, the library resources are adequate for my

needs. For group PISMP RBT Sem 2 and group PISMP Math Sem 2, this two

groups they are strongly agree at a ratio of 10:10, agree 2:5, neutral

3:0, disagree 0:0, strongly disagree 0:0. Another marvelous score were

given to present library with sufficient resources adequate for student

needs. What’s I can assuming on this questionnaire, present library with

up to date resources & satisfy by volunteer student.

As a conclusion, from this survey, even use different two groups

chose to do the survey but we get the conclusion is the same. Thus, our

library is basically to get everyone's love and satisfy everyone's needs.
