World Consumer Day was celebrated by Nature club in collobration with Department of General

Home Science, Sheth P.T. Mahila College of Arts and Home Science, MANAGED BY Vanita Vishram,

Surat. Total 60 mstudents participated in this programme. Poster and quiz competition were held as

a part of programme. This competition was judged by Smt. Purnima Pancholi, Smt. Anuradha Shah

and Smt. Khyati Mehta. Winners of poster competition were as follows:

students on the occasion of World Consumer Right Day Celebration dated

15.03.2014 in college campus. A two day programme was organized from

13.03.2014 to 145.03.2014 where in 60 students participate in poster making and

quiz competition with respect to various issues related to consumer Protection.

all will vote as it is our right as well as our duty…

for F.Y. B.Sc. students on the occasion of World Consumer Right Day

Celebration dated 15th March, 2019 in college campus. In this, various students

participated with respect to various issues related to consumer Protection.

Desh Bhakti Geet

Desh Bhakti Geet Competition was organized for students. As part of this competition, the students sung various

patriotic songs that payed homage to martyrs of Indian Freedom Struggle. This event was chaired by Dr. Kalaben

Bhabhor , Dr. Arvind Vasava and Dr. Bharti Desai. The competition was followed by Prize Distribution and the

following students were declared the winners -

Celebration of 150th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi

On 2nd October 2018, Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in the presence of the college Principal and

staff members. The following activities were undertaken in which the 85 students as well as the

NSS Week was celebrated from 12th to 17th January 2019. The following activities were

conducted.

Independence Day and Republic Day Celebration

Every year the college celebrates our national festivals namely the Independence Day and

the Republic Day. Every year as part of this celebration the students from NCC Unit of the college

organize a parade which is followed by the Flag Hoisting.

All the arrangements for this event are done under the guidance of Dr. Debanand

Chakraborty our Physical Training Instructor. We have had eminent personalities and proud alumni

of the college as Chief Guests, who hoist the flag. This is followed by inspirational speech by the

eminent speakers. The members of the management, all the students of the college, staff members,

non- teaching staff and parents of the students all come on a common platform to celebrate these

national days.

The students then exhibit their talents by performance of dance and plays that portray the

patriotic values. These extra-curricular activities unify the atmosphere and colour it in tricolours of

tiranga. This event is followed by refreshments for all the attendees of the event.
