MESSAGE FROM THE EAST
Fraternal Greetings!!!
March 2018 was quite a busy and heart warming month. We welcomed RW Don Strehle on our March stated meeting as guest speaker who delivered inspiring words to the brethren. Also the lodge officers attended the Division Leadership Conference at the Alexandria Scottish Rite Temple which was very productive. As we welcomed Bro. Mel Geminiano our newly initi-ated entered apprentice, just a week ago; we sadly have to say farewell to couple of brothers in March, Bro. Todd Ralph Stemple and RW Roy Marty Heaster whom we had a Masonic Ser-vice which was pleasingly delivered by WB Afred Tecson.
DIRECTORY UPDATE NEEDED!!! (2nd Notice)
For those who have sent their replies and updated their records Thank You Very Much…
But there are still a lot of brethren out there whom we have not heard from… Please email me back Sam Flores ([email protected]) with your mailing address and best phone num-ber and email. We need to update our records/directory.
And should you have a change of contact information in the future, kindly inform your lodge and send the changes to our lodge secretary WB Ernie Apaga at ([email protected]) so we can be in touch with each other all the time.
April 2018 promises to be a great month of reflection. Spring is a season of new beginnings. From the seemingly dead soil life emerges and the transforming love and truth we have wit-nessed this Easter should be more than enough to give us the enthusiasm and conviction to contribute and be among the brethren that gives us the power to grow and be better men as our great fraternity espouses.
Our work is never done in our lodge and in our lives… We are challenged constantly with the things happening around us. But by working together as a sacred band or society of friends and brothers, adhering to the tenets and teachings of our profession and most especially our faith in the Supreme Architect of the Universe, TOGETHER we will be triumphant not only in our own lives but in the life of our lodge who touches us each day...
SEE YOU AT LODGE BRETHREN!!!
Sincerely and Fraternally, Bro. Sam Flores, WM

Brethren: The ladies who spoil us and provide sumptuous meals on our stated meetings are the Masonic Women’s Society Blue Shoe and let us support them in their endeavors...
MASONIC WOMEN’S SOCEITY BLUE SHOE
The Masonic Blue Shoe Organization is comprised of several women who's objectives include the funding of a "love gift" of $500 to Grace Capuno, Worthy Matron of Nelly Custis Chapter, OES at her recent installation , a $500 scholarship to a rising college freshman within our organizations of DeMolay, Jobbies, and Rainbow Youth, and the visiting of sick/injured/ and or elderly members from Masonic Lodge #217. (taking a lap blan-ket and banana bread) The funds necessary to reach these objectives and our ultimate goal of "simply giving", are made possible through the monies received on the first Tuesday of each month when we shop, cook, serve and clean up after a delicious meal provided to the Masonic men before their monthly meeting. Requirements to become a member of the Masonic Blue Shoe Organization are simple! If you or any person you know has an affiliation to a Mason, is willing and able to help achieve our objectives, likes to laugh and have fun 2 hours a month, then your a fit. We meet once a month on the Tuesday after we clean up the meal! We eat and catch up and plan our next month's meal and discuss plans for any other upcoming events. Please feel free to come out and see if we are a "fit" for you! No pun intended!!! Janet E Simmons- President Masonic Blue Shoe Organization [email protected]
