LITURGY OF THE WORD with Children
We are doing something EXCITING. At the
10:00 a.m. Mass children between the ages of 4
and 7 will be participating in a Liturgy of the
Word with Children. The children and their
leaders will come to the front and process out of
Mass. They will go to Haban Hall where they will listen to
the readings and participate in reflection on the readings,
prayers and singing, all designed for THEM. Confirmation
students will be assisting. We NEED volunteers to join this
happy and enthusiastic ministry. Please contact Dan
O’Connell 630-965-9142.
ADVENT GIVING TREE Faith, Hope and Love, in conjunction with the Racine
County Foster agency, provided names of foster children
for our Advent Giving Tree who are living in Foster
Group Homes or the Detention Center. These children do
not experience Christmas, as they do not have contact
with a loving care giver on a one-to-one basis. We hope
you can help them experience the joy of Christmas by
selecting a name from the tree. Please keep your gift to a
$25 maximum as well as to the suggested item(s) on the
tag. Gifts can be wrapped for children who live in a Fos-
ter Group Home, while for the children living in the De-
tention Center gifts should be put unwrapped in a gift
bag. We thank you for your support in bringing a bit of
Christmas to these children.
ADVENT LITTLE BLUE BOOKS The Little Blue Books are available. Please pick up this
years copy for the Advent Season in the back of church.

regain peace, strength, and confidence that will help them to
start a new life. Residents are asked to participate in coun-
seling and workshops and are expected to be employed or
