1. Company Information
1.1 Introduction
Oman Drydock Oman Drydock Company S.A.O.C. (ODC) has its business target of Company (ODC) becoming the most competitive ship repair yard with best quality in S.A.O.C the world and will do its utmost to achieve the target.
In September 2006, ODC was established by the government of the Sultanate Oman with its 100% investment to be operated by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd (DSME) of Korea under theContract for Operation & Management.
ODC is located in Duqm area which is 500 km off toward south east from Muscat and will be developed to a new complex city with population up to 100,000 people.
ODC is operating with two (2) graving docks, one with 410m x 95m size and another with 410m x 80m size first, and one (1) floating dock of Panamax size which will be invested and quay of 2,800m in length withwater depth of 9-10 meters.
ODC devotes to ship repairs, conversions and offshore structures with around 2,200 persons of its own managers, staffs, workers and sufficient sub-contracted skilled workers in 2013 to respond to world ship-owners’ demand for various kinds of jobs with punctuality of working period, high quality and competitive price.

Ship Repair ODC provides the procurement, fabrication, removal, fitting, painting, various tests and trials for any kinds of Ship Repair;
- Steel Renewal Job - Outfitting Job- Grit Blasting and Painting Job including Tank Cleaning- Treatment of Slop and Sludge- Machinery and Electric Job
Ship Conversion ODC provides any kind of type of conversion including the
engineering, procurement, fabrication, erection, removal, installation, tests and trials for;
- Life Extension Job - Modification for Cell Guide System- Hull Lengthening Job- Crane Installation Job - Conversion to Self-Unloader- Conversion to FSO/FPSO, etc.
Offshore Project ODC is ready to provide the fabrication for;
- Steel structures and pipe spools for building and industrial plants- Tubular structures for offshore jackets and wind towers- Onshore plants modules and offshore platforms

4. SRM & Customer Facilities
Ship Repair SRM will assist customers (superintendents) with necessary services Manager (SRM) and facilities to customers’ full satisfaction.
Facilities ODC will supply customers with adequate office space and other For Customer supplies inside shipyard to enable them to effectively carry out their
duties.

Duqm City Hotel of three star classes with capacity of 125 rooms is available. And, Crowne Plaza Hotel of four star class having 243 rooms is available since March, 2013.
Guest House, Duqm City Hotel or Crowne Plaza Hotel can be used as per client’s option.

Safety & Environment Management All the activities of ODC related to health, safety and environment are implemented in accordance with Health, Safety & Environment Manual of ODC.OHSAS 18001:2007 was acquired to ODC on 25 April, 2012 by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc.

Oman Drydock Company is one of GTT recommended shipyards for repair of LNG carriers.
8. Qualified for US navy ships
Oman Drydock Company is qualified by US navy with MSRA (Master ShipRepair Agreement) since 21st July 2014.
9. Qualified for ship repair of Maersk Line
Oman Drydock Company is prequalified for ship repair of APMM since September 2014.
