Instruction
1. Make the string measure tool to suite dimensions shown in drawing.2. Fit string or similar to the tool as seen in blue make the string length slightly
larger than barrel.3. Undo the hub retaining nut.4. Fit internal measuring tool to the primary fan motor shaft..5. Replace the hub retaining nut so the tool can rotate without friction.6. Holding the string as close to the internal barrel wall as possible start rotating around the barrel if the string should touch any place of the internal barrel simply cut the string.7. Repeat this on all 8 machines to determine the minimum clearance of the internal barrel dimension.8. Pass the tool to Talib for further work regarding primary fan blade [ standard and Anti Vortex suction barrel and fan blade tip tolerance.
Recommended Minimum fan blade tip tolerance is 35 mm.Maximum fan blade tolerance for standard blades is 40mm.Anti Vortex maximum fan blade tolerance can go as high as 50mm providing CFM is not exceeded nor decreased from normal operations.

Critical Key Points About Anti Vortex Fan Blades
Critical Key Points About Anti Vortex Blades
1.Leading Edge Curve.2.Trash Exiting Curve.3.Exhausting Flare Curve.
These three points create the unique design proven to save fuel and perform at lower revolutions per minute with matching cubic feet per minute.
During fine tuning the fan blade critical criteria will be evaluated as:A. Blade and suction chamber leading edge clearance.B.CFM at set RPM.C. Free load PSI.D. Air Speed.

Field Fine Tuning
Blade and Suction Chamber Clearance and Performance. This study can only be physically checked under full working load
conditions. With machine operating at the desired tones cane an hour of 60 TCH.
1. Using a hydraulic test gauge connected directly to the primary fan motor.
2. Run the hose beside the Primary Hood and review the performance and behavior of hydraulic spikes. This will provide detailed information's about drag and load factors. Using best judgment to choose a field of good constant standing cane as to not misinterpret readings.
3. At this stage we determine trash being caught between the blade tip and suction chamber wear ring.

Cane Loss Study
Current Cane Loss studies are not being evaluated correctly and the procedures must be up dated.
Criteria for this can be and will be obtained through the SRI.

Auditing Primary Fan Blades
Blade ProcedureBlades being purchased from market or made in work shops must adopt the following procedures to minimize complications faced in the field from un-matched blades and dimensions.Primary Fan Blade Manufacturing Requirements.1. Work Shop representative supply all critical dimensions and requirements to the manufacturer. 2. Blade moulding or rolling must be suit flare specifications for each and every blade.3. Blade dimensions must suite supplied specifications.4. Blade weight_ each blade will be weighed and marked with white paint pen indicating weight in grams.5. Blades will be supplied from the manufacture in sets of 2 blades wired together... these will be called 1 set.6. In one set the two blades will be called blade (A) and blade (B).7. Both A and B blades must have a weight that is within 5 grams of each other.

5Ft Primary Standard & Anti Vortex Fan BladesAuditing Primary Fan Blades
Blade ProcedureBlades being purchased from market or made in work shops must adopt the following procedures to minimize complications faced in the field from un-matched blades and dimensions.Primary Fan Blade Manufacturing Requirements.8. Example # 1; A blade weighs 10.250 grams and B blade weighs 10,255 grams this will be OK. Example # 2; A blade weighs 10,250 grams and B blade weighs 10,260 grams this will be unmatched and there for not suiting critical fan balance requirements.9. Blades that weigh within 5 grams can be paired and wired together supplying the customer with [SETS OF MATCHED WEIGHTED BLADES COMBINING 2 BLADES IN EACH SET].10. Fitters can then fit a set of blades apposing one another.11. The supplied set of 2 blades will be fitted with one blade A in the south position and blade B in the north position. {Do not fit blades in this example Blade A in the south and blade B in the East or West.Audit of Supplied BladesWork shop staff will carry out random checks on each supply of blades from the manufacturer these random checks will conclude the following.12. Carry out blade dimension checks with a supplied dimension template.13. Check Blade Flare with a flare angle template.14. Check weighted sets.
