When travelling on the project, you have basically two best options – landing in Vienna or Budapest.
The best flight connections are to International Airport. Despite more approachable location of Bratislava
or Kosice airports, there are no better flights than to Vienna Airport.
When you land at Vienna airport, your next direction will be (capital city of Slovakia).
After arrival to airport:
There are in front of the Arrival terminal, where operate on link connection to Bratislava.
You have two options:
The 1st one is company - http://www.viennaairport.com/jart/prj3/va/uploads/data-
uploads/Passagier/Parken/VIE_Eurolines_7010_de_en.pdf , if you take this bus, you reach to “Bratislava
Flughafen, letisko” bus stop, from where you need to on number 61 to “Hlavná Stanica” (it is
the terminal stop on train station).
The 2nd one is company - http://www.viennaairport.com/jart/prj3/va/uploads/data-
uploads/Passagier/Parken/VIE_Postbus_1195_de_en.pdf.
By taking this bus you reach to station “Bratislava aut.st. Mlynské Nivy”, from where you need to
210 to “Hlavná stanica” (terminal stop on train station).
Now you are at “Hlavná stanica” – main train station (http://goo.gl/maps/6yubr) and you need to catch the train to
get to town of (http://goo.gl/maps/Psy0y). There are several train connections to the final destination,
most of them are with change in city of – it depends on time when you will catch the train. (The change will
from train to train, so it involves the same train station, only platform change is required). Please see connections at
the end of the document!!

If you are travelling to
if you are flying to , you have to continue by using a bus number 200 from Budapest
airport, standing right in front of the arrivals. You need a ticket which you can buy from a vending machine in
front of the airport but before that you have to change your currency to Hungarian forints. Remember to
change app 25-30 euro, not more, you will need it also for the train when coming to Slovakia from Budapest.
The bus will take you to a metro station named Köbánya-Kispest At.
Köbánya-Kispest there is a metro station – line M3 (blue line) from this metro station you should take a train
to Deák Tér station and then change to red line M2 to get to Keleti pályaudvar (East station) – the main
train station of Budapest.

from Budapest train station (Keleti Pályaudvar) you should continue to Košice. Unfortunately there are only
2 direct trains to Košice every day:
from Košice, change the train to Humenné – see the schedule of trains above (at the option from Vienna).
