July's Third Thursday lecture will be presented by the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park Rangers. The talk will bean extended version of the daily 10 AM and 2 PM eruption updates they have been giving at Mokupapapa. Sincemany of us work during the day and can not attend we wanted to provide an evening opportunity to hear theirfascinating stories of eruptions on Hawai'i Island past and present. They will show photos from previouseruptions and explore our island using some of the latest technology in teaching equipment called LiquidGalaxy. It's like Google Earth on steroids. You can ask questions and get answers from people that still live byand have worked at the park for many years.
