A Message From Mrs McKenzie What a huge start to the year we have had!! Our swimming program has now finished, with yesterday’s Swimming Carnival for the Grade 3-6s. A huge thank you goes out to Desirae and Moose, our Auswim teachers, who lead the program this year. These two wonderful people do not get paid for the privilege of getting into the pool each day and running the program. Our school is very much appreciative of their willingness to do this! A huge thank you also to all the parents who got in to the pool to assist with the sessions, walked down with grades and helped out in many and varied ways at the pool. What a way to start her teaching career for Miss Enbom! She certainly rose to the challenge with such a baptism of fire! Well done, Holly! Karmai Swimming Trials Unfortunately, due to inability to find a date between all the participating schools, we will be unable to run a Karmai Swimming Trial this year. The three schools will sit down, using the race times and will form the teams. Notices will go out on Monday to those chosen to participate as part of the Karmai team in the Division Swimming being held on Friday next week (Grade 6s will get this information before leaving at the end of the day as they are at Peer Mediation Training). Whilst this is not ideal, we will endeavour to make this the fairest possible representation across the schools. Athletics Carnival We will be holding our Athletics Carnival on Friday 16 th March. We would love you to all come along and support the kids, so pencil this date into your diary! A Message From Mrs McKenzie
What a huge start to the year we have had!!
Our swimming program has now finished, with yesterday’s Swimming Carnival for
the Grade 3-6s. A huge thank you goes out to Desirae and Moose, our Auswim
