The SW 1507 version is available for powered model LASER boards used on: New Bike, New Recline, Synchro 2009. A main change in this version was optimising the view of the speed on the display. New Digital (DVB-T/C) - Analogue tuner electronic board: HD ready & cable reception

A new tuner has been released and is available, DVB-T/C HD, used on VISIOWEB models, which allows: 1. reception of channels transmitted in the DVB-T mpeg4/H264 standard as well as

mpeg2; 2. reception of DVB-T HD channels; 3. reception of cable channels (DVB-C). The new tuner board DVB-T/C HD, available as standard equipment only for machines with Capacitive TS not for Resistive TS (6th character “Y”), implies a change to the product code, relative to the 13th character, which assumes the value “C” with the new board, which is added to the values “D”, “A” and “I” available as of now (i.e. DAK92YAAL00RCUKG). For the machines already on the market, the upgrade kit is available, code A0000640 , which allows the tuner DVB-T/C HD to be installed. The upgrade provides replacement of the tuner and an upgrade of the VISIO application to the minimum SW version 5.33.4. Upgrade kit A0000640 is available both for models with capacitive touch screen (“Y”) and resistive touch screen (“W”). Upgrade kit A0000640 is not available for VISIO models (WinCE “C”). In these cases an upgrade from VISIO to VISIOWEB is required first (ATS600 with key 0WR00800AB). WARNING: It is important to note that it is not possible to copy the channel list exported from a machine with a "previous" version tuner to a DVB-T/C HD Tuner machine and vice versa via USB. A new channel scan must be carried out. To recognise the new tuner, besides the characterisation of the product code, when factory installed, it is possible to verify: a. Solution for broken rear foot

Damage can occur to the frame where the rear foot of the machine is screwed on due to friction of the rear foot on the floor during workouts, particularly due to specific situations of stress such as very heavy users and in very demanding workout conditions (steep inclinations and high speeds). This area of the tube where a nut is welded to the inside bends or can even break, making it impossible to screw the foot back on.

In these cases an adaptation kit has been released, code R0006835AA, which allows the problem to be solved and the foot to be fitted again. The kit also includes the relative assembly instructions.

Loosening of handle unit pins

A problem was found with a loosening of the handle pins, highlighted in the figure below, even if they are tightened using Loctite and a torque wrench for assembly.

TG logo change on the side handles plug

The Technogym logo located outside the side handles plug was modified as illustrated in the figure below.

The new logo is slightly larger than the old one and it is applied in a different way which may be aesthetically visible but entirely interchangeable and compatible. The codes for the new components are given in the spare parts catalogue.

AH padding colour variant no longer available

The “AH” colour variant, which had been available until now for the Personal Selection Luxury models, is no longer available. This colour, which had already been replaced some time ago on standard products with the colour “AT”, will no longer be available as a spare part, therefore, in case of replacement, all the padding on the machine must be replaced.

DAP: Release and “drop” of the cable exit assembly (2)

In order to further increase the safety level as regards the hook and cable exit assembly to the aluminium bar, the following modifications have been made: 1. New aluminium bars (ref.1), on which the hook and position selection of the cable exit

assembly has been shaped differently to favour hooking;

2. new cable exit assembly position selection pin (ref.2), for which the profile has been

changed. 3. New, more resistant torsion spring (ref.3). 4. Replaced the washers (ref.4) with different size ones.

Step/Squat: Breakage of the footrest position selection pin

There have been reports of the footrest position selection pin breaking (ref.11 in the figure below), albeit in particular conditions of stress. To solve the problem and make the solution used more sturdy, a pin is available which is entirely interchangeable with the previous one. The code for this new pin is 0P001374AB and it is made with a different production process in order to increase resistance.

This solution also solves problems of pin wear, particularly in the insertion area on the perforated plate of the frame and it increases its life and effectiveness. The SN of the first machine manufactured with this solution is MH67E12000190.

Step/Squat: cable tension after having installed “Power Mode”

It is possible that, on the machine in question, after having installed “Power Mode”, there may be some problems correctly tensioning the weight stack cable. Basically, only the eccentrics on the pulley assembly located on the first plate of the weight stack are not entirely sufficient to take up the excess length of the cable. To facilitate the operation the weight stack cable has been shortened by 3 cm. The code of the cable modified this way is:

Noise coming from the electromagnet

Reports have come from the market of excessive machine noise coming from the electromagnet during braking. From checks and tests conducted, this noise has been attributed to the vibrations generated on the electromagnet's 2 lamellar packs which create a resonance, generating this effect. The solution to the problem was found in a modification to the electromagnet, specifically the realisation and fixing process of the lamellar packs. The code for the new electromagnet, entirely interchangeable with the previous one, is T0000560AA. The SN of the first machine manufactured with this solution is D9673Y12000314.

Misalignment between the central and side panels

To correct a possible misalignment problem between the central and side panels on the bottom surface which arises in some situations with the side panel protruding farther forward than the central panel, now a metal plate is used which is fixed on the rear of the side panels in the lower and upper corners which are adjacent to the central panel.

The solution, illustrated in the figure above, also provides for a modification to the side panels which are prepared applying threaded inserts to be able to screw the fixing screws of the plates. The code for the panel modified in this way is W0004156AC-#, where in place of “#” the desired colour variant must be specified. It is entirely interchangeable with the previous one. The table below shows the other components used for this solution:

Pulley belt not tensioned

In order to avoid that in some cases the pulley belt tensioning system illustrated in the figure below is not efficient and the belt is not sufficiently taut, a modification has been made to the belt in order to decrease the length by a few mm.

The code for the new belt, completely interchangeable with the previous one, is 0K000914AA. The SN of the first machine manufactured with this solution is: D7553L12000461.
