Un Mensaje de Nuestro Pastor ¡Espero que todos disfruten de este fin de semana del Día del Trabajo! Y espero que descansen un poco; ¡hay mucho que hacer! ¡Gracias a todos los que ayudan en la Rifa y las otras actividades y las hacen con cuidado! Mientras pasamos por la Casa Borski que ya se está levantando y tal vez podamos reclamar un premio (¡o, al menos, un buen almuerzo!), Que todo nos recuerde que, incluso con todo el desastre del año, Cristo está aquí en medio de nosotros. Y así, "Si hoy escuchan su voz, no endurezcan su corazón". En el bautismo, nos convertimos en "atalayas", o profetas, somos los hijos adoptivos de Dios y responsables unos de otros, porque "Dios estaba reconciliando al mundo consigo mismo en Cristo y confiandonos el mensaje de reconciliación". Debemos de cuidarnos unos a otros, para ayudarnos unos a otros a conocer y aceptar la verdad, y a trabajar juntos para mejorar nuestro mundo. En el evangelio, Jesús nos da un método para resolver conflictos y nos llama a vivir nuestra fe más plenamente. Gracias a todos los grupos y ministerios que encuentran formas seguras y efectivas de servir en estos días. Están amando a "tu prójimo como a ti mismo". El amor no hace mal al prójimo; por lo tanto, el amor es el cumplimiento de la ley. “ Al amar a los demás, al hacer el bien a los demás, nos facilita la aceptación de la verdad, acerca de Dios, de nuestro mundo y de nosotros mismos, nos llama a todos al arrepentimiento y conversión. ¡Gracias! ¡Dios los bendiga a todos! A Message from our Pastor

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! And I hope you get some rest; there’s lots to do! Thank you, everyone who’s helped to make it fun and keep it safe here! As we pass by the Borski House’s rising frame and maybe get to claim a prize (or, at least, a nice lunch!), let it remind us that, even with all the year’s mess, Christ is here in our midst. And so, “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” At baptism, we became “watchmen,” not the failed superheroes but God’s adopted children and responsible to each other, for “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.“ We are meant to care for each other, to help each other know and accept the truth, and to work together to make our world better. In the gospel, Jesus gives us a method to resolve conflicts and calls us to live our faith more fully. Thanks to all the groups and ministries that find safe, effective ways to serve these days. You’re loving “your neighbor as yourself. Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the law.“ By loving others, by doing good for others, you make it easier for us to accept the truth- about God, our world, and ourselves- you call us all to repentance and conversion. God bless y'all and give you rest and peace for the labors ahead of us. —Fr Tom

Summary of Faith Formation Advisory Board meeting, THU 8/27: Thanks to all y’all who shared in our meeting 8/27 and thanks again for your participation and patience with the tech issues. Here’s a brief summary for everyone of what we discussed and decided: Gracias a todos los que participieron en la reunión.
