The Oxygen Sensor (also known as Lambda Sensor) is located in the exhaust manifold or on post OBD applications there are two sensors located before and after the catalyst and measures the amount of unburned oxygen in your engine’s exhaust. Based on the amount of oxygen, it sends a signal to your engine computer which then adjusts the air/fuel mixture for optimum engine performance and emission control.

Failure Symptoms:• Excessive fuel consumption, a faulty oxygen sensor can waste

• Driveability problems, such as engine surging or hesitation.

• High hydrocarbon emissions, failing an emissions inspection.

• The engine warning light may be on or service flag displayed.

• The ECU stores a mixture-related fault code.

• When the oxygen sensor has stopped functioning completely, the catalytic converter may overheat and fail.

Maintenance/Service:• Test and/or replace every 30,000 miles.

The brief was to bring everything up to date and increase the functionality of the site (VRM, stock refinements, accessibi l i ty) and to give the whole package a more professional finish.

My dut ies were a ful l re-brand, a l l front-end design and development for website and CMS (back-end supplied by Origin Software), video intro, back ground music for videos & business stationary. Pretty much everything.

The Finchley ArrowAn on l ine commun i ty newspaper for the people of F inchley, by the people of Finchley. Built and edited by the Finchley based design collective, LDNiNK.

My role was to create the layout for the new car toons section using the existing guidelines applied to the rest of the s ite. Also, to colour correct and adjust the size of the suppl ied ca r toons to ensu re t hey f i t t ed correctly on the site.

The brief was to create a logo that was elegant and flowing whi lst not seeming too pretentious.

These icons have to work across al l continents in order to minimise the need for text and translation.

The packaging icons represent how the material is cast, stored & set.

The CMT Icon sets (100+ icons) are for use with their database systems.
