InCON Family Gaming Convention is in ‘search mode’ for people to fill their tables! The Family Gaming Convention will be held on Aug. 8-9 this year, and is currently in the ‘callout’ stage of their planning.
With the theme being ‘all that is geek’ the convention is once again searching for vendors and artists who can provide wares befitting a gaming convention. Vendor Coordinator Jessica Jamieson says, “We’re really excited about our Vendor space this year!” Easily accessible and large, the Conference Hall on the upper floor of the Florence Filberg Centre will be a perfect Vendor Area. More information, along with the Vendor Application is available at www.inconcv.com
Table space is also
available for game demonstrations.
“The goal is to provide table space to folks who have a game they LOVE to play, but can’t seem to find a community of these gamers locally,” says Alex Greenwood, co-owner of Games and Grounds Coffee House – one of the businesses that is bringing the convention to the Comox Valley.
There is no charge for the Game Demo
tables, but there are a limited number due to space restrictions, so anyone interested should email [email protected] “Attention: Game Demo Coordinator” as soon as possible.
And lastly there are tables where InCON will be offering Info Sessions, Guest Speakers and Panels. If you feel you have something to share email [email protected].
