Honesty Honesty is being sincere, open, trustworthy in all we say and do. Honesty is a mark of a disciple of Jesus, who is the way, the TRUTH and the life.
“Conscience is God’s built-in warning system. Be very
happy when it hurts you. Be very worried when it
doesn’t.”
You can reinforce the virtue of honesty by using your Catholic Culture of Deep Caring calendar
at home.

Volunteer Appreciation
Evening It is that time of year that we would like to thank all of our dedicated parents, grandpar-ents and friends who have helped make this school year truly special. Invitations are going home this week for all the volunteers. The Volunteer Appreciation evening will be Monday, June 17th from Please R.S.V.P. and let us know if you are available to join us. We are very fortunate to have many faithful volunteers and while we will endeavour to ensure that they all receive an invitation to the luncheon we worry that we may miss someone. We would like to extend this invitation to
anyone that has helped out during the school year!

HOT WEATHER DAYS With the onset of the warm and humid summer days please make sure that your children are prepared for the weather. Kindly apply sunscreen before your child leaves for school in the morning and ensure that they have a hat with them, particularly for the noon hour recess. Families are also encouraged to send a water bottle with their child that can be filled periodically throughout the day. On days when the air quality is poor and the humidity high we will have a shortened outdoor recess period. Open back, tube/tank tops, spaghetti straps and muscle shirts are not permitted by themselves or under other clothing. Sleeveless tops with a shoulder band of at least the width of three fingers are acceptable. Shorts, skirts, skorts and dresses are expected to be of a modest length (width of wearer’s hand at knee).
