WHat is tHe aia fort WortH Homes toUrA showcase of outstanding residential architecture designed by local, licensed architects. The two-day event, is a self-guided tour of elite homes in Fort Worth and surrounding cities. At each stop, attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet the architect as well as major home product suppliers like your company. The tour features a mix of projects including: renovations, additions and newly constructed homes. The tour’s mission is to celebrate the process of design & educate the community on the benefits of working with an architect. Last year we had over 1,300 attendees for the 2019 AIA Fort Worth Homes Tour.

Basic toUr informationThe two-day tour runs from 12 noon to 6 pM each day. This years event occurs May 16th and May 17th. Advance ticket to access all homes is $25. Weekend-of ticket price is $30 which is good for all homes. Individual home tickets can be purchased for $10. At each house, official tour booklets are available which contains information on each home, the products in each home, and an overall contact list of home product/services that are found throughout the tour.

meDia oUtreacH We utilize a number of media resources to publicize our event and promote our sponsors. We have a robust multimedia campaign. Starting 260 days before the start of the tour, our social media accounts follow the development of the tour. Within 120 days, we implement a stratified outreach approach including KERA advertisements, display ad in 817 HOME magazine, editorial features in various magazines (including a multi-page story in 360 West Magazine), e-blasts, and sponsor related social media postings. All of these culminate in the tour weekend with Tour Booklets available exclusively at the homes and online. We are partnered with 360 West Magazine for our exclusive media sponsor. The combined reach of the print and digital versions of 360 West Magazine is 200,000 affluent readers (average issue).

WHat kinDs projects Do We featUreThe tour showcases a variety of home styles, types and sizes. Our past tours have featured Fort Worth’s finest residential architects including: Allen Architecture, Bennett Benner partners, FIRM 817, Norman Ward, AIA, Randall Gideon, FAIA and 97w, and many more. The projects that we select show the highest attention to detail, a superior design sensibility and the benefits of a long-lasting relationship between contractors and subcontracting teams. The tour highlights the products that homeowners desire and reveals the processes behind creating this level of design. See the next page for architects on the tour this year.

toUr ticketsTickets included with your sponsorship can be picked up at May 16 and May 17 at the Will Call tent located at the tour house ‘A’. The Will Call Tent is the white tent in front of the house. Tickets will be under your company name. You are welcome to pick up some or all of your tickets at once. Will Call will be open on Saturday May 16th at 11:00 AM and Sunday May 17th at 11:30 AM.

You must have a product, a home to be eligible for this. Company representative should check-in with the Tent at the front of the house prior to entering the house. Representative is welcome at the home during all or some of the tour hours. AIA will confirm home placement prior to event if your company has products in multiple homes on the tour.
