Silly Sentences for a

Kindergarten classroom.

Words are written on the back to help students know how to spell them.

Students then wrote their silly sentences on a separate sheet of paper to show the teacher.

“Archaeological Dig” game explained on following two slides.

“It’s a Race” game on next

slide – available upon request.

“It’s a Race” game – played with dice and spelling words. Kids roll the dice to see how far each “spider” goes and then write the spelling word the corresponding number of times. The first “spider” that makes it to the bottom of the board wins.

Don’t forget that you can have your students create a story from one of these sentence prompts!

You should have a copy of this in your box already. They were laminated here on cardstock and placed in the spelling/word work station.
