how can we help you?

architects and interior designers

• Incorporate multiple purposes into one piece of furniture. Our curved edges, sloped tops and smooth lines create sophisticated storage solutions.

• Tell us what you are looking for and work with us to get there. With hundreds of finishes and design options, Proximity’s solutions allow you to match existing décor without losing durability.

• Use space for people, not equipment. Allow us to recommend wall-mounted and space saving solutions for narrow corridors and other high-traffic spaces.

healthcare providers

• Ensure data is always at your fingertips with our wall-mounted workstations, strategically placed in patient rooms, ERs, ICUs and other frequented areas.

• In-room cabinets and workstations save time and effort, allowing you to focus your energy on what is important – providing the best care to your patients.

• Swivel options allow for angle adjustments, so that you can see your screen and patient at the same time.

• Protect your patients’ privacy with retracting doors. Additionally, lockable compartments keep documents, equipment and medication secure.

IT professionals

• You don’t want to be constrained by the equipment you use. Proximity’s custom crafting allows you to fit computers, monitors, scanners and other technology into compact workstations built specifically for you. Expansions for wireless applications can be accommodated.

• We understand the importance of protecting your system. Our workstations protect from damage and tampering with doors that auto-retract, lock and allow for proper ventilation.

facility engineers and maintenance staff

• In a fast-paced environment, you don’t want to worry about complicated systems. We work with you to create dependable, straightforward products that are easy to install and maintain.

• Incorporate our auto-retracting surfaces into your designs to reduce the number of tabletops or carts. Less obstructions allow for faster emergency response times.

• Durability is key. Our curved edges deflect collisions and minimize damage, eliminating the need for maintenance.

Proximity’s 4-step process is designed for efficiency and quality, just like your workstation. In serving over 1,200 businesses, we have perfected the mechanics of making sure your unit fits your need and is delivered on time.

Our products serve a variety of settings, including:

Whether you are initiating new construction, planning a renovation or considering an addition to your facility, Proximity provides innovative solutions that are shaping the standard.

Step 1: Strategic AssessmentOur team works with yours to plan your product, from functionality to design choices and add-ons. Key members from Proximity’s Sales, Manufacturing and Design departments consult during this initial phase, ensuring that your needs are met at every level.

Step 2: Product RequirementsWe define the factors that impact your design and usage. This includes understanding your intended applications, workflow, equipment, ergonomics, aesthetics, site conditions and regulations.

Step 3: Concepts, Design and EngineeringWe take input from everyone you consider important to your facility — your architects, planners, clinicians, IT staff and management —and use it to define the final product. You can then explore various options with our design team to decide on the best fit for your facility.

Before we proceed, we develop a Product Description Sheet with drawing details, dimensions and a conceptual photograph of your workstation, allowing your team to integrate the concept into

their own plans. We also develop CAD drawings and blocks for architects and engineers upon request.

Depending on your needs, we can take things a step further by creating a full-sized, fully functional prototype, to allow your team the chance to evaluate the space with an actual product.

Step 4: Fabrication and DeploymentOnce final designs are approved, we build your workstation in our Tomball, Texas manufacturing facility. The same team of experts working on your concept also oversees the production of your unit to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship.

The completed products are then delivered, fully assembled and ready to place with a complete installation kit. In select situations, Proximity Systems offers competitively-priced installation services.

Our commitment to your satisfaction continues through a lasting partnership, with a 2-year warranty and complete customer support to ensure users are able to take full advantage of all the features designed into each Proximity Systems unit.
