If an exhibitor or parent is not present, there will be a $50 fee to be withheld from their premium check or added to next year’s entry fee.
We will use the Extracurricular Participation/Eligibility Form this year for the stock shows. The extension office will notify the schools and let them know you are participating under 4-H, but it is your responsibility to use the Form to notify them of exactly what days you will be out.
This form serves two purposes:
1. It allows you to participate in 4-H related activities during the school day as an extracurricular event, and
2. It certifies your academic eligibility whether the activity is during school time or not.
Remember you must be passing all of your classes in order to participate in the upcoming livestock shows. Extra-curricular Participation/Eligibility Forms are attached to the back of this newsletter. If you need any extra you can contact the extension office.
