The ASU experience
ASU is measured not by whom it excludes, but by whom it includes and how they succeed.– Excerpt from ASU’s Charter
Let the adventure beginPicture your future. Do you see yourself developing a life-saving vaccine? Producing content for a major media outlet? Maybe you'll be launching your own business or performing on stage. Whatever your vision of success looks like, you’re already on your way — and we’re here to help you write the next chapter in your journey.
At Arizona State University, you’ll be part of a new kind of university, where traditional thinking is re-examined and innovative ideas thrive. Where academics challenge you and drive you to be your best. Where you can collaborate in some of the university’s most significant and meaningful endeavors. Where you’ll discover more about yourself than you ever knew.
And in the end, you’ll graduate with the tools to make your life one amazing story.
Out-of-this-world opportunitiesASU students are working with Professor Lindy Elkins-Tanton and her team of researchers on a NASA deep-space mission to the asteroid Psyche in an effort to learn how planets are born. Inspired by Elkins-Tanton’s work, student Jessica M. applied for and received an internship with NASA, where she worked on a Mars rover. Like Jessica, students at ASU have opportunities to be part of and even lead some of the university’s most important projects and discoveries — in outer space and down here on Earth.

“Education is a way for us to further ourselves and build a future that we love. My internship at Ford helped me get my foot in the door and gave me insight that this was the role and company I wanted to continue my career with post-graduation. I’ve accepted a position atFord Motor Company in marketing.”

“I fell in love with a lot of things that ASU provided for me, things I didn’t think I would have the opportunity to do. Because of that, I was able to do research that I will also be doing in the future. I’m going to be moving to Bethesda, Maryland to work at the National Institutes of Health, working in a lab with a neurosurgeon.”
