Out-of-this-world opportunitiesASU students are working with Professor Lindy Elkins-Tanton and her team of researchers on a NASA deep-space mission to the asteroid Psyche in an effort to learn how planets are born. Inspired by Elkins-Tanton’s work, student Jessica M. applied for and received an internship with NASA, where she worked on a Mars rover. Like Jessica, students at ASU have opportunities to be part of and even lead some of the university’s most important projects and discoveries — in outer space and down here on Earth.
