IMPACT / FEEDBACK – PARENTS “Our jamaat is small in number in terms of farzando in the same age group as my
child. It is also helpful for farzando to make contacts from around the country so that they can create a connection in our community and not get tempted to go seek that
outside of our jamaat”
Teens Tafrih is a “wonderful bonding and friendship building forum for our farzando to keep them from feeling the need to sacrifice their beliefs in any way to fit into the
American culture.”
Advice to other parents: “your child will get courage and learn to live independently within a deeni frame”
“ My son had an extremely nice time and really appreciates the learning and fun activities at the Camp. This Camp was an exceptional success specially to create
networking amongst our community teen agers. We congratulate the Team of Teen Tafrih Committee / Volunteers for their day and night devotion since many
weeks/months to make it a GRAND SUCCESS.

IMPACT / FEEDBACK – PARENTS (CONT.)
“Our hope was: he would make some new friends, learn about balancing dini taalim with the modern world right now. Understand and implement our dini stuff with the help of our mentors, experience new things and get to learn interesting ideas from qualified people. I feel when it comes to teens, sometimes they process all this well when it comes from other
people rather than parents. I wanted my child to be more responsible and I think it worked…”
“CULTURE + RELGIOUS + FUN GOOD COMBINATION”
“Both my children formed great bonds at this camp. The musaids were great and were able to give a fresh perspective to the kids on deen.”
“Every parent should try to send their child if possible. It should be a must event.”
