Principal Appointment The Board of Trustees of Silverdale Normal School (Rob Gray - chair, Andrew Don, Rachel Dixon, Sione Naulivou, Sandra Edwards (staff rep) and Stefan Lipsey) are delighted to announce that Michael Harrop was the successful applicant for the Principal's position. We went through a very rigorous process and were heartened by the number and quality of the applicants. In the end, Michael showed that he had the vision, passion and the leadership qualities to be an excellent Principal of the school as we continue our journey forward. We would like to thank Irene Cooper (consultant), Beverly Cooper (University of Waikato) and Sheana Goudie (staff) for all their help as part of the selection committee. We're also very thankful to staff and parents for their feedback during the process. Let's continue to work together to see Silverdale Normal School become the best school it could be. Nga Mihi Rob Gray
