• Designed in the UK by Smith+Nephew Homecraft and manufactured in the UK

• Lidded version and 15cm versions were launched early 2000 along with the Savanah toilet frame

• Retooled in 2004/5 due• Since the original launch, number of units

sold is in excess of 1.5 million world wide

Features & Benefits• Raised toilet seats allow for, or increase, independence

when using the toilet, particularly by compensating for impaired movement especially after knee or hip operations

• Retained the contours of the original Savanah seat; supports the natural curvature of the bottom

• Retained the downward slope from back to front; assistance for movement on/off the toilet

• Retained the overall shape and style of the original seat• 15cm version now reflects same contours and shape as

original Savanah; complete family range of raised toilet seats• Removed the internal weld seem; smooth, complete finish,

better grip and easier to turn• Increase hand wheel size 35mm; larger surface area for

user to hold• Increase base bracket thread and screw; quicker and

easier to fit and adjust• Increase surface area of the bracket over-mould with four

plugs; provided a more secure and stable fit• New clip-in lid design; easier to remove and clean• New shape and style to the lid; provides a improved fit to

the top surface of the toilet seat• Retained maximum user weight of 190kg/30st; provides

strength, stability and reassurance for the user
