WCDMA R5/GSM R12.1, SAE Dimensioning
This document provides Traffic Size Alteration Event (SAE) list for WCDMA /GSM.
Not all SAEs are analysed in this document. Only critical (traffic affecting) SAEs areconsidered.
This document is divided into the following sections!
". #S$. %$TS
GSM! This section covers!
- Node sizes for #S$- Assumptions used for dimensioning SAEs- SAE settings for different node sizes- $iscellaneous SAE impacts due to #S$ features (such as #&'S * +S
A$E+ &h, -N/ased $N&)
UMTS! This section covers!

1.1 Node Sizes
A node has /een categorised into three types! Small medium or large sized node.
The size of an $S01+' or $S01+'0SS2 node is defined /y the amount of traffic (inErlang) handled /y the node.
&'A and 3A can /e integrated with an $S and its size depends on the num/er ofaccesses.
