Navigating Banner Pages and Banner Self Service
To navigate to a Banner Page, click the “Page Menu
Button”. A panel displays a link to Banner and
Banner Self Service. A click on the link in the panel
displays the familiar ‘hierarchal menu’ to the Banner
modules and subsequent pages. The Banner Self
Service link provides direct access to Self Service.

The Page Menu Button A panel displays a menu and subsequent page links. Clicking the link within the panel will direct you to the
selected page.
The Search Button the Home Page Search Box
These options allow you to search for a page using the mnemonic name of the page (e.g. SPAIDEN), parts of the mnemonic name
(e.g. AIDEN) or the page name description (e.g. Person). As the information is entered in the Search Box the system displays the
matches. Use of the full page name provides quick, direct access. Searches using a part of the name could produce multiple
references to other pages within the application. The use of the wildcard sign (%) is no longer needed.
9
Banner Admin Pages Page displays have changed. The traditional Banner 8 form displayed many parts of a Banner form including the menu bar,
the toolbar, the key block, etc. The page display in Banner 9has changed. The initial display when accessing a page in Banner 9
presents only the key section. The full data page is only visible after a search is initialized. Once the record is identified click
the GO Button to fully display the page.
