MONSAL DALE DATA

Gauge & Scale:'N' gauge, 2mm

Features: Some reduction in scale length of the section of the Midland line between Head-stone and Cressbrook tunnels at Monsal Dale. However the principal features (viaduct, over and under bridges, station and passing loop) have been retained.

Operation:1960 is the principal intended operational period for the layout, albeit at a greatly in-creased frequency.

However, it is possible that the layout may operate as either modern image, assum-ing that the proposed re-opening of the line came to fruition, or as a preserved line, assuming the Peak Railway Society extended their line to Buxton.

Logistics:

ViewingViewing is generally from the front. However, viewing from the left hand side would also be desirable (the view from Monsal Head car park).
