Work table with T-slotsOn the MIKRON HPM there is an idealdivision of torque between theworkpiece and the tool. Simpleloading and set-up of workpieces isensured.
The heavily ribbed cast iron worktable offers robust and universalclamping solutions. The axial (axiallyparallel to X) arranged T-slots enablediverse workpieces to be mounted.
The generously sized table enables anadditional workpiece to be manuallyloaded in addition to the automaticallychanged pallet.
For simple manual loading ofworkpieces, a table with parallel T-slots is available.

Cooling lubricant container with 2 chip basketsThe accrued chips are removed fromthe machine and conveyed into thechip baskets. The cooling lubricantruns through the basket into thecooling lubricant container. The filledbasket is pushed up onto a slope, sothat all the cooling lubricant candrain. At the same time, the secondbasket is laid under the chip ejectionagain.
In the container, the cooling lubricantis passed through sieves to separateit from further chips and is thenpumped from the container through afiltering sieve to the belt filter unit ordirectly back to the cooling lubricantnozzles of the tool spindle. Thecooling lubricant container stands onrollers and can be removed withoutbeing dismantled.

High-Speed and High-Performance Milling Centers
In terms of cutting speed, HSM centers are 10 times faster thanconventional milling machines. Greater accuracy and a better surfacefinish are also achieved. This means that even tempered materials canbe machined to a condition where they are largely ready to use.
