Peer Index is a web based social media analytics company that
focuses on the who of social media. Peer Index has built an index of
over 300 million Twitter users in order to understand who they are,
what they are interested in and where they are located. PeerIndex
enables marketers to segment and engage their social community
through understanding the individuals in the community. Once
marketers have analyzed who these individuals are through

help understand the spread of a message. We’ll know that a message
spread because a particular person talked about it. We will then see how
