He was the first born from a Jewish family. He was born in New Jersey. In 1871 he went to the Charlier Institute which was the best private school.
At first he didn’t want to give his photographs for sale and didn’t want to get hired. He wondered how could he live in a horrible place so he took pictures of things he thinks were bad in life. He also took a lot of portraits and some even nude.

She was born from German immigrants in New Jersey. When she was 7 she got polio and stayed limp the rest of her life. When she turned 12 her father abandoned her family so she dropped her middle name and put her mothers maiden name.
She captured people in distress. She took at lot of pictures that had to do with the great depression. I see she liked to have sort of an emotional side to the photos.

He was born in Michigan. He started getting into photography at the age of 14. He went to three different colleges and another one to teach photography right after. Then he finally go this own exhibition for himself only at the The Museum of Modern Art and that really started up his career.
He uses a lot of different pictures and puts them all together to create something sort of magical. You can tell he has an amazing imagination. The pictures are all so different but he puts them together very well and likes to play with the eyes.
