* IT clubs is a governmental initiative started in 2000 and aims at encouraging ICT usage in rural and remote areas. The idea behind the IT Clubs is to provide each and every person in society the chance to develop his/her skills through the use of technology and to have access to information and knowledge. IT clubs mainly target the low income areas, people with special needs and children who have dropped out from the schooling system.
