Connecting It All
Connecting It All
Online Videos
Videos of tours, lectures, and events can be posted to YouTube, then embedded within the JHL Website.
This means more people will see the videos:
1. Those on the JHL Website will watch the video, making it more popular on YouTube
2. Those browsing YouTube will see the video depending on their search terms

In Closing… 3 Rules for an Online
Presence
In Closing… 3 Rules:
1. Don’t do technology for the sake of technology.
Have a reason for being on Facebook/Twitter/YouTube. If these networks don’t fit what your organization needs, then don’t force yourself to be there just for the sake of being there.
In Closing… 3 Rules:
2. Commit resources and relevant content
Having a Twitter page isn’t enough. Social networks need consistent updating to stay timely and resourceful
In Closing… 3 Rules:
3. Remember your audience
Keep in mind who will read your tweets and facebook posts and who will watch your videos, and appeal to all different people.
