Age Divisions Premier Exhibitor will be divided into the following age divisions:
Elementary (grades 4-6)
Junior (grades 7-9)
Senior (grades 10-12)
Scoring Rubric: Premier Exhibitor Contest points will be accumulated in the following manner:
10 points……..Attendance at Parish sanctioned showmanship clinic
*Attendance will be counted by official sign –in sheets*
60 points……...Skill-a-thon (20 pts written test, 10 pts breed ID, 10 pts Feed ID, 10
pts Equipment ID, 10 pts Body Parts ID),
20 points………Showmanship placing (20 points winning division, 15 points
winning class, 10 points placing in class, 5 points participation)
*Participation will be determined by names written on sign up sheet as well as
visual confirmation of exhibitor in the showmanship ring...both are needed to
score points*
10 points……….Confirmation class (10 points purple ribbon, 5 points blue ribbon)
