Final Year Collection Ideas

Original Ideas Re-constructed Textiles – Using Curtains,
and fabrics found in charity shops to create Garments.
Natural Textures – Looking at corals, floral, Bark, stagnates, etc. and manipulating the textures in to Garments.
Enchanted Woodland – using woodland textures, to make garments to fit within a mystical woodland theme.
Reconstructed Textiles• Using Used Fabric's like curtains and
furnishings to create garments.
• Looking in Charity shops, Vintage shops and ask for donations for fabrics.
• The thing that inspired me for this was when I made this jacket on my placement.
• However, an issue would be that a lot of the fabrics would be random.

Textures:
E.g., Coral, stagnates, fungus, bark and floral’s!
And then manipulating these onto fabric and garments.
I would like to use print, Knit and laser cutting to achieve this.
Enchanted Woodland
Developing from the natural textures theme, I would like to look at woodland textures.
I was also inspired by the Enchanted palace exhibition at Kensington palace, To create an Enchanted Woodland Theme.
Enchanted Woodland
I would like to create a couture collection, for a high end market, concentrating on the detailing rather than complex patterns of the garments based around the story of a girl trapped in an Enchanted Woodland also Looking at the woodland textures and silhouette's.
