As part of the EXXON MOBIL Head Office Building Complex three 11kV substations were installed along with four 1MVA generators and associated step up transformers. Including state of the art protection and EMS systems. The protection system is equipped with IEC61850 GOOSE messaging as part of a protection blocking scheme to assist with protection discrimination.

KBR provided the HV specification and design. The protection study was provided by FLOTH.

Schneider 11kV switchgear and power factor correction units were installed with four Cummins 1MVA generators.

Schneider SEPAM protection relays were utilised for the project, these include:B40—11kV Bus bar protection;S40— Radial feeder protection; andG40—Generator protection.

ROBSAL (Aust) Pty Ltd provided drawing reviews of the high voltage switchgear. Provided the protection logic design and settings for the protection relays, and performed site wide protection testing. ROBSAL also provided the High Voltage Isolation and Access (HVIA) procedures and switching sheets for the site wide HV system.

ROBSAL provided reviews and instructions for the HV Earthing system, Energy Management System (EMS) and Building Management System (BMS).

ROBSAL provided Design, FAT SAT and O&M documentation.
