Why does the building need modernization??
HEATING The house is heated with a
masonry heater (a tiled stove), you may want to install central heating which would speed up the time
required to heat the whole house.
WINDOW WOODWORK
The house has old, wooden windows with gaps.
WALL INSULATION
The building has no insulation, neither from the outside nor from inside. You would need to insulate it with styrofoam.
DOOR The door is located on the west side, you would
need to install vestibules as western winds are most common in Poland.
FLOORING
The building has a wooden flooring, which allows the heat to escape. You would need to make a proper floor.
ROOF The roof is made of Eternit
(asbestos cement) which pollutes the Earth. Because of that, asbestos should be replaced with tiles.
