IMu iBeacon support future

• iBeaconen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibeacon

• Apple’s implementation of Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) wireless technology

• A mechanism for providing location based information and services

• Beacons are small, cheap, short range Bluetooth transmitters. Each beacon transmits its UUID.

• Smartphone apps listen for signals transmitted by Beacons and trigger location based content.

• iOS 7.0+ devices. BLE also compatible with Android 4.3+ devices.
