SustainabilityAs part of the Eco-Flex® mission, we strive to fulfil the need of businesses wishing to become sustainable. A sustainable business is any organization that participates in environmentally friendly or green activities to ensure that all processes, products, and manufacturing activities adequately address current environmental concerns while maintaining a profit. In other words, it is a business that “meets the needs of the present world without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs”. It is the process of assessing how to design products that will take advantage of the current environmental situation and how well a company’s products perform with renewable resources.
Become a Leader Globally, "people" and "businesses" are focusing on "eco" products and services. Businesses that are committed to providing environmental solutions with their products and services are easily recognized as leaders and become the preference of choice in competitive markets. Whether it's a commercial account or retail customer, people and industries want to do their part in reducing their negative environmental carbon foot print. With our vision and products, you can make a difference too..
Company Profile: Paving The Way Since 1992 Eco-Flex® is a division of Champagne Edition Inc. founded by CEO, Alan Champagne, in 1992. We are an industry leader in manufacturing high value, end use, recycled rubber products sold throughout Canada and the world. All raw rubber material used in Eco-Flex® products is Western Canadian based (Alberta), however we anticipate outsourcing raw material in the future based on increased consumer demand for Eco-Flex® quality, recycled products. Our Environmental Commitment Our experienced research and development team engineers all Eco-Flex® products in-house, and uses the recycled rubber from 6 million discarded passenger tires per year. All production occurs in our 35,000 square-foot manufacturing facility situated 30 minutes north of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Eco-Flex® product line is constantly evolving with the needs of industrial, agricultural, and municipal clients, and is proud to contribute to the reduction of landfill waste by manufacturing products that are environmentally sound.

Why Choose Yukon Mats? An Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Product & Service
Extremely Durable • Will withstand tracked equipment or chained tires with very little or
no evidence of marking under normal use activities.Safe• With the use of rubber matting, electrical conductive hazards are
reduced compared to electrical work being carried out on steel platforms.
• Protection from lightning strikes and electrical shorts• Rubber is excellent for providing a non-slip base, preventing slips
and falls by employees.• Less snow and ice build up; black rubber absorbs the suns
radiation and melts snow and ice even up to –15°C.Flexibility• The mats have been tested and proven to have flexibility to
withstand heavy equipment operations by providing the smoothest transition between mat connections in undulating terrains.
• Should the mats accidentally be dropped while handling, there are no concerns of breakage.
High Insulating Value • Rubber is a natural insulator, keeping the cold in the ground longer
enabling the road to be in service for an extended period of time in the northern permafrost regions.
Resilient to Absorption and Infestation, • Mats do not absorb any ground water therefore weighing the same
once removed. This offers a cost savings for transportation.• No insect or disease cross contamination from site to site
Easy Maintenance• Easy to wash off, therefore less labour intensive and a cost
saving.Shock Absorption• Rubber is a natural shock absorber that smooths out the ride, thus
reducing fatigue on manpower and equipment.• Should electric equipment or machinery be dropped on the mats, it
is less likely that the equipment would be damaged, saving expensive replacement costs.
• Traveling noise is reduced Traction Control• Equipment is less likely to slip off the track to become damaged
and caught in the terrain it is being protected from.Easy Handling• Optional lifting lugs can be installed
Rubber Won’t Bond To Ice• Less time to handle• Less damage than traditional wood
Less Damage to Equipment and Vehicles• No nails reducing flat tires• No damaged protruding boards
