Classification of data
Data can be categorized into two basic forms.1) Quantitative data – Data that can be
expressed numerically.2) Non-quantitative data – Data cannot be
expressed numerically.

Quantitative data
• Data that can be measured numerically.• Deals with numbers.
Eg:- The number of attendees at an event. The temperature in a given location. A person's height in inches.

• Data cannot be expressed numerically.• Also known as qualitative data.• Deals with descriptions.
