Impact Training would like tocongratulate Janet Wilson, RetailTutor; Kate Breen, Catering andHospitality Tutor; Joanne Stewart,Childcare Tutor and Caroline
McKinley Personal DevelopmentTutor on their recent graduation. The girls have worked hard allyear round on obtaining theirCertificate in Teaching fromUniversity of Ulster Jordanstown. When asked how she felt aboutthe programme and finallygraduating, Caroline said Mycolleagues and I had a fantasticday at the School of SocialSciences graduation ceremony at
the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. Wespent last term studying at theUniversity of Ulster to complete aCertificate in Teaching. Wedeveloped ourselves bothpersonally and professionally byimproving our teaching practiceand building on our current skillsin the classroom. I feel veryvalued as a member of staff as Iwas encouraged to complete thecourse and given the time off to
attend classes. I know that it wasnot only worthwhile for my owncareer development but ultimatelyit will benefit any learner I comeinto contact with as I will be ableto provide them with qualityteaching.
The girls graduation marks theend of this chapter of staffdevelopment with all our teachingstaff now fully qualified in theCertificate in Teaching (UUJ). Wewould like to take this opportunityto congratulate all our teaching
staff on their achievements andthank them for their ongoingenthusiasm and commitment toproviding the highest quality ofprovision to our learners
