Felt gives big thanks to the many BMX riders out there who stepped up tosupport our new, young brand in 2004. Our BMX launch in America far-exceededour expectations last year, and we continue to build upon this platform for 2005.
For ‘05, Felt has brought in none other than Todd Corbitt to manage the entireproduct line, bringing over 20 years of BMX experience with him. Working with Alan Foster and the entire Felt BMX team, you will see even more team-inspired products and improvements. Todd and the crew are 100% dedicated to bringing you the best BMX products in the world.
Alan Foster, Felt USA’s Team Manager, has done a great job with his crew this year. Park/street sensation Scotty Cranmer, still just 17 years old, is proving to be a consistent finalist at every pro event. The energetic Scotty amazes crowds wherever he rides. Scotty, with his busy big trick runs, is definitely part of the new generation. Another 17 year-old in the mix is the current ABA “Rookie of the Year”Paulie Lange. In just his first full season Paulie has racked up over 20 Pro wins and is in contention for the prestigious ABA #1 PRO title. Rounding out the Felt Team, Todd Walkowiak, brings many years of experience and has one of the deepest bags of tricks. Considering what Todd, Scotty and Paulie are accomplishing now, we can only imagine what the future will hold for these amazing riders.
As Felt enters our sixth model year doing BMX we’ve already become thebiggest BMX dealer-brand in Germany, and we’re making some serious wavesin the UK, Australia, France, and even Russia - who would of thought? Not all riders are ready to make the step from a 16” wheel straight to a full size bike with a 20” long top tube. The Base has a short 18” top tube and lower standover height, customized for smaller riders who are ready for bigger action. It features Aheadset, Alex Aluminum rims, Odyssey London Mod, Felt Alloy “Backpedals”, welded Gyro tabs with SST Oryg and 14mm front &rear axles.
