Nottingham City Council’s Community Engagement Equalities Team in partnership with Nottingham City Homes.
Whoiseligiblefornomination?
Children/young people of African, African-Caribbean and Black Mixed Heritage between the ages of 5 and 18 years who live in Nottingham City or are studying in Nottingham City schools/academies.
Whowillbejudgingthecompetition?
A panel of judges comprised of representatives from community-based organisations and local authority staff.
Whathappensnext?
Shortlisted nominees will be notified by 31 October 2018. Certificates and prizes will be awarded in a presentation evening at the Council House on 08 November.
CanInominatemorethanoneperson?
There is no restriction on the number of nominations any individual may make, nor any restriction on the numberof categories for which any individual may be nominated.

(N.B. Primary schools can nominate previous Year 6 pupils who will be in Year 7 when the event takes place.)
