Pëu fazendo cocar com penas de gavião real e arara. O uso de cocares foi retomado nas últimas décadas. São utilizados principalmente em momentos
cerimoniais ou eventos solenes fora da aldeia.–
Peu doing headdress with real hawk feathers and macaw. The use of headdresses has been taken over in last decades. They are mainly used in
ceremonial moments or solemn events outside the village.
Jovem fazendo saia de casca de buriti. Essa foi a atividade das pessoas algumas semanas antes do festival.–Young man doing buritis bark skirt. That was the activity of several people few weeks before the festival.
Preparo de Uni (ayahuasca)A bebida é usada em rituais coordenados por pessoas já iniciadas nas dietas que formam um Shinaya (rezador). No festival os visitantes podem participar de cerimônias noturnas que contam com elementos do xamanismo Yawanawa.--Making Uni (ayahuasca)The beverage is used in rituals coordinated by people already initiated in the diets that form a Shinaya (prayer). At the festival guests can participate in nightly ceremonies that have elements of Yawanawa shamanism
Venda de colares, pulseiras e tiaras etc.
Ao longo do ano alguns Yawanawa se dedicam ao artesanato e os vendem durante o festival. As formas geométricas e coloridas que ornamentam pulseiras e colares são chamadas de kêne (grafia). O mais comum é o da jiboia, animal de destaque no xamanismo Yawanawa
–Sale of necklaces, bracelets and
headbands etc.
Throughout the year some Yawanawa are dedicated to crafts and sell them during the festival. The geometrical and colorful shapes that adorn bracelets and necklaces are called Kene. The most common is the anacondas, prominent animal in Yawanawa shamanism .

Os cocares de gavião real são restritos as lideranças e caçadores. As lanças representam as que foram usadas no passado quando os Yawanawa guerreavam com outros povos. A foto foi feita antes do início de uma das brincadeiras tradicionais que acontecem ao longo dos dias.

The harpy eagle headdresses are restricted to leaders and hunters .The spears represent the ones used in the past when the Yawanawá battled with other groups. The photo was taken before the start of a traditional games that occur throughout the day.

Saiti é uma roda de dança e canto conduzida por um líder praticante dos cantos. São cantos cíclicos com temas relacionados a elementos da floresta e a aspectos da cultura Yawanawa. Após o líder cantar um trecho todo o grupo o
repete enquanto giram de forma ritmada.–
A large saiti
Saiti is a dance and singing circle conducted by a practitioner of the chants. The chants are cyclical with themes related to the forest elements and aspects of Yawanawa culture. After the leader sing a section the whole group
repeats it while rotating rhythmically.
