The 4 P’s à Product, Place, Promotion and Price Product Any good or service that we wish to sell to consumers. What is an example of a product? Goods: Car, Food, Home, and Clothes Services: Hospital, Hair cut, Auto Mechanics, Babysitting Place The timing of distribution of the product The placement of the product Promotion Making potential customers aware of a product in a positive way so they will want to buy it in the future. Price Determining the dollar amount at which we could sell a certain product or service for. It is assumed that you want to make a profit. A profit is what is left over after all expenses are paid.

What is Marketing? •  Definition: Marketing is the process of

developing, promoting and distributing products in order to satisfy customer’s needs and wants.

•  The 4 P’s à Product, Place, Promotion and Price

Product •  Any good or service that we wish to sell to

consumers.
