Eratex believes that good communication and relations between workers and their managers are one of the essential requirements to build a strong Company by providing quality products and services to customers. In this regards, the CSR team organized annual Halal Bihalal event which is a family gathering function. The event held on 24th August 2014 (Sunday morning) inside factory premises. Workers along with their families participated in this event and enjoyed various entertainment activities such as live music, Hadrah (Muslim Traditional Music), dance performances and poems. Workers and their children actively participated in all the performances.The attraction of the event was enhanced by 233 lucky draw prizes which included Refrigerator, washing machine, LED Televisions and much more. Overall, the event refreshed all and strengthened the bond of togetherness among Eratex team.

HER-Project Kick Off Meeting and Training
HER project is a program initiated by one of our buyers and is dedicated to empower the female workers through health and financial education. Eratex participated in this program and a kick off meeting between Eratex and a Local NGO (YBS) held on 20th August 2014. In subsequent meeting on 12th September 2014, YBS conducted a health assessment survey of female workers. Eratex management and staff actively participated in these meetings organized by YBS. A team of 40 Peers Educators (PE) was selected from female workers who will get health related training from YBS and in return will train the group of female workers to live a healthy life by sharing the knowledge learned from YBS. Eratex is committed to make a positive change in the life of female workers with HER project.

First Aid Training
Eratex with the support of Red Cross (PMI) Probolinggo held a First Aid training seminar in factory premises for its workers on 1st – 4th September 2014. 125 workers from various departments attended this seminar and gained valuable knowledge / training about first aid from professionals from PMI. The training material included subjects like Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), complete treatment for minor injury like putting plaster on a cut. The knowledge gained by the workers will also be helpful to the society around the factory area.

Corporate Social ResponsibilityActive Participant Award from Probolinggo Red Cross
Eratex along with Probolinggo Red Cross (PMI) continued its tradition of organizing a blood donating camp in factory clinic once in 3 months. During last such camp held in September 2014, Eratex has been awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Chief of Probolinggo Red Cross (PMI), Dr. H. R. Bambang Harijadi M. Kes. During this time PMI also held an educative session for workers about benefits of blood donation to blood donor and the society.

EnvironmentalTree and Flower Planting
Environment sustainability has always remains an integral part of all CSR activities of the Company and therefore tree planting activities are regularly organized inside the factory as a contributor for creating greener environment to reduce pollution and the impact of green house gas emissions.In September 2014, a team of 150 workers led by Head of General & Administration Pak Suyoto, participated in planting 100 skyscraper trees, mango trees, and 50 other different kinds of flowers alongside workers’ canteen area.

Leisure and ExerciseEratex’s Fun Bike Club
Cycling is still one of the favourite sports cum exercise in Indonesia. To build teamwork spirit among the employees, in 2012 a formal association named as Eratex Cycle Club (ECC) was formed. The ECC organizes a cycling day tour to the surrounding areas on weekly basis. Besides ECC also takes part in the cycling events organized by the local community. In September 2014, ECC participated in the cycling event organized by military personnel to celebrate the anniversary of military of Indonesia.
