A. The water caught for Run I should be 3345.7 grams and not the 2934.8 gramsshown on the calculation sheet. This will impact the output data on Page 0018 forpercent moisture and subsequent calculations for stack gas flow. Also theemission rates and stack flow etc. on Tables 1 and 2 and Page 0016 will change.

INTRODUCTION
AIRRECON performed a stack emission evaluation on behalf o'f OHM REMDEIATIONSERVICES (OHM) at the Drake Chemical Superfund site located in Lock Haven PA.
OHM is performing site remediation by thermal treatment of soil contaminated with organiccompounds left from the manufacturing process formerly located at the site. After passing throughemission control, gases from the process are discharged to the atmosphere through the TDF stack.
AIRRECON is measuring dioxin/furan emissions on the TDF stack. This is the third of threemonthly test events to occur during routine remediation operations at the site.
Dioxin/furan emissions were sampled in accordance with EPA Reference Method 23 (40 CFR 60).Method 23 incorporates EPA Reference methods 1-4, which are used to determine the location oftraverse points in the stack, volumetric stack flow, gas composition (CO2/O2) and stack moisturerespectively.
SUMMARY
Sampling dates and times are summarized, along with emission data, in Table I, EmissionSummary.
Key stack and sampling conditions are summarized in Table 2, Sampling Summary.
Key process conditions are summarized in Table 3, Incinerator Process Operating Data,\
Per Section EL of the case narrative in Philip Analytical's report, samples were reanalyzed toconfirm the non-detect values found in the 2, 3, 7, 8-TCDF confinnational analysis. The re-analysiswas performed in response to instrument difficulties as explained in the same section of Philip'sreport. These data are presented as Appendix V.

Run Date is defined as the date of injection of the last calibration standard (12 hour or less) prior to thesamples analyzed within, that run sequence. Therefore the time of calibration injection that defines therun date is always within 12 hours of the time of sample injection.
b) Shipping Problems: none encountered
c) Documentation Problems; none encountered
a SAMPLE PREP:
No problems encountered
UL SAMPLE ANALYSIS:
See also comments within the appropriate Certificate of Analysis.
a) Hold Times; all within recommended hold times
RR32I85
0009b) Instrument Calibration: all within control limits -Note that during the confirmation run, the instrument failed before the post run calibration was injected. The standard was reinjected the following morning and this standard met the continuing calibrationcriteria. No maintenance on the instrument was performed and this was simply a rerun of the standard. Therefore the data quality should not be impacted. The samples will be reanalysed to confirm the non-detects found in the confirmational analysis.
c) Surrogate/Internal Recoveries; except where noted otherwise, all within control limits
IV.DATA QUALITY ASSESSMENT.\11 samples for PCDD/F were analysed via EPA Method 23.All data quality objectives for the method were met. All data contained herein was reviewedby the laboratory prior to release to Recon for review and deemed valid.
1 certify that this data package is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract, both technically and for completeness, for other than the conditions detailed above.En addition, I certify, that to the best of my knowledge and belief, the data as reported are true and accurate.Release of the data contained in this data package has been authorized by the cognizant laboratoryofficial or his/her designee, as verified by this signature.

Run Date is defined as the date of injection of the last calibration standard (12 hour or less) prior to thesamples analyzed within that run sequence. Therefore the time of calibration injection that defines therun date is always within 12 hours of the time of sample injection.

No problems encountered
EL SAMPLE ANALYSIS:These extracts were re-analyzed to coiifirnithe absence of measurable 2,3,7,8-TCDF as determinedin earlier runs from August 17th. The sampK extfacts were re-injected since the post-run calibrationon the earlier runs (Aug 17th) Med to inject 'The continuing calibration from the following morning didshow the system to be in control, nevertheless, we proceeded to re-analyze the extractsto ensure complete control of an analytical sequence for the 2,3,7,8-TCDF confirmations.AH the data from the earlier DBS and DB225 analytical runs have been reported underseparate cover. • ". • .
