Passengers requiring special assistance, in-cluding without limitation those who permanently or periodi-cally use a wheelchair, must be accompanied by someonewho is fit and able to assist them, and who will be totally re-sponsible for providing all required assistance.AIR TRANSPORTATION-The price of Air Transportation of-fered by AHI Travel is based on an Advance Purchase Excur-sion fare. After tickets are issued, penalties up to 100% ofthe ticket price may be levied. If connecting flights are re-quested, special promotional fares may be used, in whichcase penalties of as much as 100% may be assessed bythe airlines if reservations are changed or canceled afterticketing. After departure, if the reservations are changed,you will be charged the higher, all year Economy class fare.VARIATIONS TO THE GROUP ITINERARY MUST BE RE-QUESTED NO LATER THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.Passengers who choose to make their own airline reserva-tions independently will be wholly responsible for arrival anddeparture transfers, and any airline fees or penalties in-curred as a result of program cancellation and/or change intravel dates, or airline schedule(s).BAGGAGE-Baggage restrictions vary according to the air-line policy and the class of service flown. Details will be pro-vided with your pre-departure information. Baggageallowances are subject to change by the carrier without no-tice. Excess baggage charges for additional oroversized/overweight pieces are expensive and not includedin your trip price; plan your wardrobe accordingly. Transportof baggage and personal effects is at the owner's riskthroughout the travel program. AUTHORITY TO USE IMAGES AND AUDIO RECORDINGS-On occasion, AHI Travel and CAA obtains, from its staff, orfrom trip participants, photographic or video images of pas-sengers and trip activities. By participating in this travel pro-gram, you authorize AHI Travel and CAA, without providingcompensation to you, or obtaining additional approvals fromyou, to include photographic and video recordings of you, aswell as voice recordings included with any videos, in AHITravel's and CAA's sales, marketing, advertising, publicityand/or training activities.RESPONSIBILITY-AHI Travel and the Cal Alumni Associa-tion (herein after "Sponsoring Association") do not own oroperate any entity which provides goods or services for thisprogram, and act only as agents for the independent suppli-ers of travel conveyance, transport, accommodations orother services. All such persons or entities are independentcontractors. As a result, AHI Travel and the Sponsoring Asso-ciation are not liable for any negligence or willful act of anysuch person or entity or any third person. In addition andwithout limitation, AHI Travel and the Sponsoring Associationare not responsible for any delays, delayed departure or ar-rival, missed carrier connections, loss, death, damage or in-jury to person or property or accident, mechanical defect,failure or negligence of any nature howsoever caused inconnection with any accommodations, transportation orother services or for any substitution of hotels or of commoncarrier equipment, with or without notice, or for any addi-tional expenses occasioned thereby. Dates, Program Detailsand Tour costs, although given in good faith and based ontariffs, exchange rates and other information current at thetime of printing, are subject to change at or before the timeof departure. No revisions of the printed itinerary or its in-cluded features are anticipated; however, the right is re-served to make any changes, with or without notice, thatmight become necessary, with the mutual understandingthat any additional expenses will be paid by the individualpassenger. Baggage and personal effects are the sole re-sponsibility of the owners at all times. If the entire programis cancelled for any reason, participants shall have no claimother than for a full refund. By forwarding the deposit, thepassenger certifies that he/she has no physical, mental orother condition of disability that would create a hazard forhimself/herself or other passengers and accepts the termsof this contract set out herein and in more specific pre-de-parture passenger information. The airlines and other trans-portation companies concerned are not to be heldresponsible for any act, omission, or event, during the timepassengers are not on board their conveyances. The pas-sage contract in use, when issued, shall constitute the solecontract between the company(ies) and the passengerand/or purchaser of this trip.CANCELLATION-All cancellations for any reason will besubject to a $300 per person administrative fee. You maychoose, at the time of cancellation, to apply the withheld ad-ministrative fee to a future AHI Travel program that will oper-ate in the current calendar year or year following. The creditwill be applied to the final billing and may not be used aspart of the initial deposit. It is non-transferable and is notvalid toward the purchase of an AHI Cruises independentcruise. Cancellation from 210 days to 121 days prior to de-parture will result in a $500 fee. Cancellation from 120 to91 days will result in a forfeiture of 20% of the entire cost ofthe trip per person; cancellation from 90 days up to the timeof departure will result in 100% forfeiture of the entire costof the trip. TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS AVAILABLEFROM CAA. INFORMATION WILL BE SENT AFTER YOU RE-SERVE. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to AHITravel and Cal Discoveries Travel. CANCELLATION OF TRIPOPTIONS-Purchases of optional excursions, trip extensionsand additional hotel nights become fully non-refundable 45days prior to departure. Air transportation and private trans-fer purchases are subject only to penalties assessed by theairlines and transfer suppliers.
